Dissapointed....

Been to friends, we couldnt test anything because he wouldnt get display with my card.

I dont get the lines with onboard. So to me it looks like another RMA... ive no idea what to do

So what do you guys think? I think its 100% obvious if I get a new card and it still does this, its not the card problem. Ive tried a friends adapter which works fine at his house with his ATI card and he doesnt get anything, so its not that.

I know what a troll is, I just dont know why you think I am one?

did you bother reading your post as you typed it?

suggesting Nvidia have common problems with there cards.

would you care to list the other "common" problems they are having, and include links to you sources? :D

Yes, nvidia do have problems with their cards and I was informing the OP of this as it is possible the 2nd card could also be faulty.

I still fail to see the problem?

I see what your doing here, I am being trolled!

My Sources? Well I manage a computer and laptop repair shop, I would like to think its the biggest in the country and we do work for companies all over the UK. I have repaired dozens of nvidia desktop cards recently and not had to repair even one ati card. Laptops I have repaired hundreds of laptops with failed nvidia graphics chip with only having to repair a handful of ati chips.

I thought it was pretty well known that nvidia graphics cards were unreliable, although only partially their fault, the real problem is with the ROHS compliancy and the introduction of lead free solder, which is of course prone to failure due to how its made.

Now edited.

I could post a similar story about me working for a huge company with a multi million pound turn over that repairs pc components and that I have only dealt with ATI hardware and no Nvidia products.

but I wont because it would be a lie.

LG W2234S
