Right but if you dont like animals to be harmed then you wouldn't pay for them to be harmed would you, unless youre suffering from cognitive dissonance, which is the main problem with our society regarding the treatment of animals.
Screaming into the void and thrusting animal torture on people because they like a rasher of bacon and milk in their tea isn't the way to convince the majority to change their way of thinking. Shock tactics can make people switch off, or, you get an entirely negative reaction because they don't like having it forced on them. I know I don't enjoy it, I don't enjoy being told what I should think and what I should do and that if I ignore you, I'm a monster.

I buy Free Range and preferably Organic so the animals actually have some sort of a life before they are butchered. I've also cut down my meat consumption significantly, I'm quite happy with vegetarian meals, but that's also because I don't think the current state of farming is really sustainable, alongside the unnecessary animal suffering it causes. But fake meat sucks, it's processed to oblivion and too expensive. The reality is many people can't afford or don't have the time / energy to switch to a healthy vegetarian or vegan diet. It's a luxury for many. Screaming at them is even less helpful.

Of course I don’t like animals being harmed, no right thinking person does but I accept that’s part and parcel of eating meat. I don’t like it but I hope it’s done as painlessly as possible and it should be regulated to the hilt to ensure as little suffering as possible.
I don’t pay for them to be harmed. I pay for the meat that comes from the end result of them being harmed. Some, like yourself, choose not to pay for that meat and that’s your choice. But you can’t just claim that most people like animals to be stabbed in the neck.

No ones screaming into the void, or screaming at anyone  I'm vegan because of other vegans activism, so it works.

Some sort of a life? Not really, Organic animals are still killed at a fraction of their lifespan.

Plant based diets can be as expensive or as cheap as you make it, I spend around the same because I like a beyond burger from time to time.

The issue is you are associating vegetarian or vegan with healthy.

This is the vegan propaganda in action.

Drinking on a school night is never a good idea.

I'm not saying you specifically are screaming into the void. Plenty do.

A cheap plant based diet is either unhealthy, or it takes more time and effort to prepare and gather the whole foods involved. For some families the time is a genuine problem. You have to eat intelligently to get a rounded diet. I'd wager many don't really do well doing that with an omnivorous diet, let alone when removing the meat. It is as it is. Unfortunately convenience is key to a lot of folk.

I eat meat, but I do hate the whole 'but I buy free range' attitude, all that means is they let them out twice a day in a tiny little pen to see day light then bring them back in, I don't think it makes it at all less bad on the conscious, it's more just a well we've done our bit, tactic for the industry to continue making money and make out like they're angels.

I don't think I'm an angel at all, you're making assumptions because I happen to buy that way without even knowing where I buy my food from. It also tastes better.
