Do you shake hands?

Thats got me thinking, in the work place I guess I would have no choice but to shake hands, but in a social situation I would simply blank them and let the body language do the work.

I personally feel that shaking hands is more of a male etiquette.

However as for men I am a bit wary as I have seen many times they leave public toilets without washing their hands :eek:

I like to shake hands, I subscribe to the idea that it reveals something about the persons character. Ive met men who shake hands so badly they would make a dead fish look good. Other men shake "hands" with two or three fingers. Pathetic.

Yet last week my buddy introduced me to his GF and she has such an excellent handshake. Nice and firm, full of confidence - along with looking at me and smiling.

She could give a LOT of dudes I know some lessons!
