Doctor Who

Is it just me, or does anyone else have strange visions of the Doctor just cracking and going full pelt into a full-on Malcolm Tucker rant?

Also, Clara is smoking hot and needs to start wearing tight blue jeans and a Slayer t-shirt.

The last episode was ok but they seriously need to get rid of that school girl. She was so irritating and I really wish her character was blown in to space and never seen again.
Clara on the other hand was ok, not at her most irritating best but I did like the ending where it looks like she may give the doctor her notice period.

Regarding next weeks episode, I love Agatha Christie stories, I love mysteries and I love watching Dr Who :D. Hopefully they don't screw it up!

Dear Dr Who writers, stop putting kids in the TARDIS. Thanks !!

Extremely poop episode, but the Clara outburst at the end was kind of awesome.
Not enough to save the other 95% of the episode tho !! Grrr

Yeah a silly ep! From the beginning I was thinking surely even nasa wouldn't have a shuttle that's carrying the most important payload in human history would have some landing gear! and I would also say as the moon disintegrated and was almost straight away wouldn't have an immediate effect on the tides etc but how on earth did the creature lay an egg that was the exact same mass and size? Maybe I am thinking about it too much. Unlike the writers.

The whole episode felt like a mumsnet Tupperware party on the moon, talking about babies and such...

Clara outburst was just PMT

This whole series is becoming a caricature tbh. Even Clara is becoming annoying. Poor writing and poor stories. This weeks was a case in point.

Well I liked it.
Yes the girl was annoying, but she was meant to be annoying and the characters thought she was annoying too.
I think its a good way of having the kids angle whilst still dealing with mature content, unlike in previous seasons where they just made everyone immature or idiots.

Massive abuse of science and plot holes aside.

How does a creature the size of the moon, lay an egg the size of the moon immediately after it has hatched out of its egg which is the size of the moon?

oh no sorry

PhysicyWisiskkyThing

Physics in Doctor Who, even basic principles never seem to apply, but even to an 8 year old it must have seemed wrong this week.

It isn't that difficult to spin in some form of actual sci-fi spin.

The creature could have been a 'gravity dragon', it could have manipulated time and space during its growth and birth, it could lay a new egg through the production of a micro wormhole, and after it flies/gravitates away, 'bang!' there it is, the new moon.

Alters the lines they have to speak by about 30 words without adding any, still doesn't make any sense, but at least gives some apparent sci-fi based 'out', rather than just randomly saying stuff that can't be explained at all. These guys are good writers, or they can be, its awful that they simply don't seem to be bothered.

They have a storyline board, they are clearly going from a to c via b, but don't give a damn about filling in the middle bit with anything other than guff.
They can do much better.
They can do it easily.

I thought they would have learn from the cyber men episode last year about kids on the show, anyway the episode went on for too long should have ended when Clara left the tardis.

honestly, take away the kid, and the underdeveloped female astronaut and I really enjoyed it. Perfect mindless Sci-fi for me, best run of episodes in years, forgetting Capaldi, as I've not made my mind up on him yet. Still on "team smith" at the moment

Really enjoying "who" again, next week looks cracking. More of this please!

The doctor has a space ship that is bigger on the inside than the outside. What are you talking about man?!

Well so far I do not like the new Doctor and never really did like Clara.

This season is the worst since new series in 2005 IMO.

Hopefully the ratings will show the its the case.

The 2005 series was amazing. Shaky first episode and some cheesy monsters, of course, but it's Doctor Who. What do you expect? Eccleston was a great Doctor, it's just a shame the circumstances surrounding the administration at that time led to him leaving before he could really develop.
