Doctor Who

Now that we know "The Doctor" has had lots of "adventures of all types that we've not heard of", including doing morally ambiguous things (because we know just THIS set of Doctors have had to deal with the Valeyard, so there HAS to have been some who have been off the rails, especially with this "Division"...)... Well. I'm awaiting the clear and obvious implications and route this is going to lead to: A Jimmy Savile Doctor (They're getting younger all the time...), a Hitler Doctor ("I" am the Doctor, and "I" don't like what's happening here, do as I say or face the consequences...), or Bin Laden Doctor (You take ordinary people and fashion them into weapons...).

Just so we can then say those were bad, and they were "men".

Bleh, so much wasted away (50+ years) over this pointless story...

woke people ruin everything...give it a year or so and people will actually wake up to the mess that's been made...

tbh the past few years has been people in control thinking the woke mindset is going to be the dominant mind set but the reality is just children and mentally disturbed bullied adults growing up with a grudge...fine be gay fine be trans...make your own god damn shows!
but no they want to punish the rest of us for some reason....tell us why Steve?
Same as the influx of Vegan products...companies don't really care they just see a market to make money from.....

what's next dr who with a sonic flesh light?

equally we could get a Myra Hindley or a Bloody Mary or a Elizabeth Bathory, Amelia Dyer, Rosemary West.
or we could have a gandhi, Leonardo,Shakespeare

i don't know why you have quotes round men. also you only have to look at history to see that most evil deeds are carried out by men.
sounds more to be that your what people call a ********* "waa waa waa they picking on my gender again waa waa waa"

Given what the current writers are doing over the last two seasons. What makes you think we'll be getting your version over mine? :)

I have quotes around "men", because I've been watching the show and can see what the writers are trying to point at to put any blame at. Don't blame me, blame the writers if you have an issue with what I pointed out. And given your reaction to my post, you clearly do agree with me otherwise you wouldn't be having such a reaction. It's nice to know you also agree the writers are totally crap and shouldn't be doing ANY of what they're doing. :)

The More I think about it, the more convinced I am that the Master should have been the timeless child. It's a totally believable story that he went full loco after being experimented on again and again and again as a child. It would have been great to see the Master figure this out, show us the master telling the doctor with the doctor showing some real compasion (which wouldn't have straight broken the doctors relationship with Missy) and watching the doctor struggle trying to manage two sides of her consciousness - one which sympathises with the Master and one destroyed because of the loss of the Timelords. Eurgh it could have been a fantastic story line.

But no we got this instead. The master is mental because reasons. The doctor is a gormless moron. Lore is left in ruined.

Chibnall still has a chance to save, this just about, he just has to tell us the Master lied to the doctor in order to get the doctor onside. Because that's something a nutcase would do. But Chibs wouldnt dare, because that's admitting he got it wrong in the first place.

To be honest

I think it would have made more sense (if they must go with having the Timeless Child angle in the first place) for it to have been The Master.

And I think if I were a writer for Doctor Who I would have had the real 13th Doctor wake up having just regenerated from Capaldi and realised the current 13th's reign was just a dream. Whether I'd have the actual 13th Doctor as a male or female would be dependant on the best candidate for the role too.

Tonight I felt like randomly watcbing a couple of older episodes. The were the ones with Matt Smith as the Doctor, Amy, Rory and Riversong. They were the two episodes about the Pandorica. What struck me was how entertaining they were. I thoroughly enjoyed them. Much, much better than the current ones.

I think there is an energy in the Tennant and Smith series which it seems to have lost now... but I still blame the companions and how they are written for a lot of that. 3 is too many for a start...
