Is it just me or is Alex Kingston (can't remember what she was called in this but she was the one who played Dr Corday in ER) pretty hot?

very good episode IMHO, the 'death echo' idea was a very good plot concept. Quite creepy really. Is Alex Kingston...

(a) Future timelord wife (most likely)
(b) Captain jack after a sex change
(c) Some sort of regurgitated companion

The tardis diary was quite a good idea, and the in joke reference to spoilers was funny.

I'm sure he also does become the Face of Boe from the conversation at the end of season 3 (new style )and the expression on the Doctors face when Jack says that was his nick name!

Personally I also thought that 'River Song' could be Captain Jack, especially after the "end of the Universe" line.

If it was Captain Jack, he probably would have said so as the Doctor was clearly not trusting him. Also he would have recognised the Doctor immediately, which she did not.

I reckon the girl is the main (sentient) computer which is dreaming it is a real girl.
