Hi all

Going shopping later and will be getting the usual oven chips but I was thinking of adding more flavouring to the standard chip. We usually have salt and vinegar but I saw a video yesterday of someone adding parmasan and coriander, does anybody have any preffered choices when it comes to adding flavour?

I was thinking maybe some peri peri salt or mix a few together...

Cheers

I've seen Nandos salts but I'm guessing I'll be able to get a cheaper one from ASDA later
The Nando’s stuff isn’t that expensive really, you got a Rio’s or Pepe’s near you? They usually sell the bottles of their peri salt over the counter, decent size bottle for £2.99.

Ohhh really, yes we have a Rio's, I'll will grab a little bottle later at asda, give our chips a different taste for tonight and then get a big bottle next time I'm near Rio's, can't moan at that price

Cajun or paprika.

Also oven chips are a bit bland and boring. Go for fries, skin on fries, curly fries, waffle fries, sweet potato fries, heck I'd even say steak cut chips are better than plain old oven chips.

Always add ground black peppercorn to my chips and some chilli sauce of some description (Which ever one Im currently on)

I've started putting black pepper on my chipy chips when I have them at home takeaway. MAkes a nice change and adds another dimension.
