Does something need to be done about dogs?

No one is stopping you form fleshing out a coherent argument but so far it seems to be rather vague... or some nonsense of X has *some* effect in this domain therefore lets pretend it's a magical solution here.

He's stopping himself from doing it. As much as I can tell he literally doesn't have the ability as he's not managed to do it in a single one of his posts and cannot follow a simple line of thought or coherently respond to your questions.

@Freakbro stats that have already been highlighted in this thread and then denied by multiple people. Even with evidence posted. Amazing how many people challenged it and then ran away and didn't engage further because they clearly don't like what the numbers demonstrate but are too engrained in their bias to accept it.

Dog attacks, injuries and killings are a significant and growing problem which people are completely in denial over.

It’s really not a pretty simple solution dude, it’s a proper bonkers solution. Dogs provide so much love and joy to many millions of people. Outright banning all of them because a few are dodgy/have dodgy owners is kinda mental. For sure something needs doing, especially where these ‘monster’ breeds are concerned, but banning every type of dog, not really a solution even worth discussing.

Knocking one off provides joy for tens of millions of people, I still can't do it in your mother's face!

Actually the benefits dogs provide to millions of people far outweigh the negatives just like cars. When somebody takes a stance of 'save the kids' you have to expect replies like this.

I'm just highlighting the ridiculous nature of blanket bans.

Dogs are not (largely) essential. The benefits are your opinion. Words are important.

As I said it's not opinion it is scientific fact as many peer reviewed papers would tell you. Amazing how ones hatred of dogs can cloud their judgment.

Amazing how ones hatred of common sense allows them to say that you can't get rid of dogs because it's purely emotive whilst the only reason to keep them is...emotions

The benefits of dog ownership are not just emotional, not sure why you keep saying that. Let's face it a blanket ban of dogs is never going to happen so you'll just have to lump it.

Because all of the benefits stem from emotions. Feel free to review your scientific facts. What you're neglecting is other things have the same positive emotional and physiological effects.

Hence me mentioning knocking one off! Same positive endorphin rush and the happy joy joy outcomes that brings.

- to scare away the JW teams
- bring joy and happiness to an otherwise dull environment.... we clearly need a forum dog...
