Oh god no I don’t own a cat. Horrid things. I’d just ban them from ‘free’ roaming to stop them crapping all over non cat owners gardens. Might as well deal with them at the same time as dogs.

One can maim and kills humans and has numerous evidence of this occurring numerous times this year. The other has left a doo doo in your back garden, completely reasonable to treat them as one and the same.

i've suggested dealing with them at the same time. that's not treating them as one and the same.

I am unsure how the right to roam for cats is anywhere near an equal issue to large, aggressive and violent nature dogs who have caused significant injury or death to people in the country.

Just sounds like you hate cats.

i've never said it was. you've seemingly made that up in your own head. i simply suggested dealing with them at the same time as dogs. and yes i hate cats, they are horrid things.

Okay they are not equally as bad, but why should they be treated equally when they are not equally as bad? Actually no, I dont need your answer as I have no intention of reading whatever nonsense you sprout in return.

oh dear, you've really took being wrong to heart haven't you. again, i've not said they should be treated equally. i've simply stated they should be banned from free roam. no mention of muzzling them, cause you know that would be me suggesting they be treated the same, and i'm not.

i'm glad you're not going to read my nonsense reply. shame you hadn't read the first one you replied to properly rather than thinking there was an internet win for you by jumping it feet first.

Jeepers dude, you’ve really gotten yourself all twisted and upset about this. And you’re still not reading the posts properly. I’m not looking for a win, I’ve nothing to win!? The only person that’s looking a win here is you fella, seeing as you keep claiming I’m treating cats the same same as dogs, when I didn’t.
I also don’t have to worry too much about cats in my garden or stepping on their crap as I’ve plenty of asiatic lillies dotted round the garden that keeps them out and if doesn’t, we’ll that’s a shame.

Who knows, hopefully when the time comes the law will manage to move more swiftly than it has this time instead of waiting for pressure from the public to force change through. In the meantime we get a reduction in dangerous dogs so a win win.
