The problem with the ban is it doesn't address the problem of bad owners because it requires bad owners to be good owners and muzzle their death machines

yea and they can just move onto another dog breed..The problem with the ban is it doesn't address the problem of bad owners because it requires bad owners to be good owners and muzzle their death machines
yes some proper responsibility for your dangerous animalsImagine, just imagine going about your daily business, shopping, visiting friends, going for a bike ride, etc., etc., and you end up getting ripped to shreds by these murder dogs.
Time for the owners of these dogs to get convicted of manslaughter on these occasions, and get banged up for ten years minimum.
Might just see a change in attitude.
Sonia Martin said her mother had been visiting her 11-year-old grandson from her home in Woodford Green, London, at the time of the attack.
Ms Martin, 47, described how her nephew "ran out of the house screaming for help" and said some neighbours grabbed spades to try to "fight off" the dogs. Chief Supt Glen Pavelin, from Essex Police, said the suspect's relationship to Ms Martin - who was a grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of three - was "familial".
Ms Martin described how she received a knock at the door from a local police officer at her home in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, at 22:00 GMT, informing her that her mother was seriously hurt.
"There were adult XL bully dogs in the property, and my mum had raised concerns to the owners about them being dangerous and quite aggressive," she said.
"There were also six puppies."
Ms Martin said she believed the puppies had been fighting, and that her mother had been told by the dog's owner earlier to "put a broom in among them, to distract them".
"That's when she was attacked," she said.

"The police said the breeds are yet to be determined, but the family have claimed they were XL Bully dogs."
"She said her mother - from Woodford Green, London - had previously told the dogs' owner that they were dangerous."
"told MailOnline: 'They were XL Bullies. There were eight of them in the house, six puppies and two adults. None of them neutered, not registered."
"'The owner's words were "no one is going to tell me what to do with my own ******g dogs.""
"'Mum had raised concerns about the dogs, over their breed and their temperament. ""
Scum of the earth breeding dangerous dogs.
Perfect example of why a ban on the breeding of them has been put in place.
Now if only we can put a ban on breeding on humans with alarming social skills or lack of IQ.
+1These XL bullies are just lethal, not just their stature and strength, but temperament. There are plenty of big strong dog breeds with safe temperaments..... But something aggressive that is too physically strong to overpower short of having a firearm.
They should all be destroyed, sad to say.
XL bullies should have a total ban from the UK and all the ones already here shot.
I don't disagree, but how do you achieve that? These "types" aren't the like to have registered their dogs, so the only way they're found out is from the public telling on them.

I'm all for neutering or euthanasia for them too.
Put to sleep, not shot ffs. We’re a bit more civilised than thatXL bullies should have a total ban from the UK and all the ones already here shot.
