Does something need to be done about dogs?

The problem is then the council having to empty them and the cost involved of paying someone to walk xxx metres down a path and back again.

Even dropping the bag to pick up later is chancing it. You haven't actually cleared away the poo, so you're potentially still going to be prosecuted for not clearing up/littering.

Try one of these?

That does look a good product, I think the other half has something on her treat pouch that may be similar. Tbh most of the time I will run back to put in the bin if not too far, if I do leave it hanging from a fence post to pick up on the way back for example I cant imagine they will be paying people to be on the look out if they wouldn't pay for someone to walk further to a poo bin. Occasionally I have carried the poo myself if say on a beach.
Generally though councils could do with providing more bins and actually think about where they put them, seem some in very odd places.

You don't even need such things, though.
Just about every bag dispenser comes with a small carabiner to hook it on the lead or similar. You simply tie the poo-bag with a loop and clip it to the carabiner while you walk round. Unless your dog drops more than 3kg of poo, that will be sufficient.

Let's face it, he hasn't exactly been the most coherent or demonstrated higher thinking throughout the thread.
When people have had too much to drink they normally are not very coherent, keep that bee in your bonnet though.

For sure your posts are of the higher thinking category, most definitely. Not insecure at all.

If you drink that often you have a problem. Get help.

Diet is also an issue, dogs fed on cheap supermarket food tend to have very bad quality stools, big, sloppy and really stink bad.

Think human stools after a night out on the lash and donner and chips and you'll get the idea.

My dog does nice, compact stools with good consistency that don't really smell much unless you stuff it up your nostrils.

Why are you sniffing your dogs turds?

Yes but you don't need to hold it up to your nose.

I have no idea why I'm talking about poo to a stranger on the internet, but I have to point out you're taking my comment out of context.

if the stool is of poor quality, you can see it's sloppy, and you can smell it easily from several feet away.

Yeah, which means you're putting it up to your nose to know that it smells.
That's weird. Like...really weird.

Oh you joker you. I don't even think I have engaged with you much in this thread apart from one night when I was drunk, even then I think it was mostly you just sniping from the side lines and jumping in on someone else's argument, seems quite frequent behaviour.

Its rather odd you even posted that further up, its just being obnoxious for the sake of it, whatever floats your boat I guess. You could probably do with some anger management, or maybe its just on the internet you are like you are.

It's becoming regular like mass shootings in the US

And the people on here are displaying the same level of ambivalence/disregard as gun owners in the states.
Quite interesting to see! The same excuses. The same whataboutery.

And the same bleating about introducing "new laws" and "new bans", while disregarding the fact that this stuff happens because people ignore the laws and bans that already exist...
