That does look a good product, I think the other half has something on her treat pouch that may be similar. Tbh most of the time I will run back to put in the bin if not too far, if I do leave it hanging from a fence post to pick up on the way back for example I cant imagine they will be paying people to be on the look out if they wouldn't pay for someone to walk further to a poo bin. Occasionally I have carried the poo myself if say on a beach. The problem is then the council having to empty them and the cost involved of paying someone to walk xxx metres down a path and back again.
Even dropping the bag to pick up later is chancing it. You haven't actually cleared away the poo, so you're potentially still going to be prosecuted for not clearing up/littering.
Try one of these?
Doo-Kee Poop Bag Holder
Doo-Kee is the most convenient way to carry your dog's used poop bags. Here's the problem. You're out for a walk with your dog, naturally, they need to go... Being a responsible dog owner, you pick it up, but now you're carrying it for the rest of the walk (and that's if they only go once!). To...www.doo-kee.com
Generally though councils could do with providing more bins and actually think about where they put them, seem some in very odd places.
