If anything a fast food delivery driver is the least deserving of a tip in the entire chain, his job is almost as unskilled as you could come up with. Pick up a box and an address, drive there in a car (Guided by a sat nav also, so not like you're even paying for his skill in local area knowledge) and repeat all shift. Also most people do takeaway deliveries to earn extra money, not because it's their only job. It certainly wasn't when I did it. 39 hours a week day job then 2-3 nights deliveries.
