How on earth you can bleat on about Obama being corrupt (baselessly and purely as a distraction technique) when his chosen God is complicit in the deaths of 90000+and counting through lying, inaction, corruption and ineptness amazes me.

Come on mate, Trump said it's a "Badge of honor" that they have so many cases - it means they are the best testers ever.
Even though per capita, they aren't.
Pelosi's pushing Trump's buttons using his own playground bully techniques. He so thin-skinned he keeps falling for it hook, line and sinker. It's hilarious.

We don't really know how countries are doing, America has more "cases" because they've tested the most people. Cause of death isn't a consistent measurement across countries. As has been said before we need to look at deaths above average levels for this time period. A lot of countries will be under reporting cases and deaths, and even if certain countries are affected more severely, it doesn't necessarily mean any action taken by government would've prevented it. Population density, number of citizens being obese, average age, prevalance of underlying health conditions, average temperature, etc, etc; there's so many variables which may affect how the virus impacts on a population that are outside a governments control.

Which is why it's important that the government do all they can in those areas they can control and influence.
Unfortunately that's the bit Trump has failed at.
The US has 93,500 deaths, Britain has 35,000, Russia has 3,000, Iran has 7,000, China has 4,600, you think all those figures are accurate and the reason we've faired worse is due to our government being worse than the other governments? More derangement.
Not really, we know how countries are doing because of how many extra dead people they have, America doesn't have more cases because they've tested the most people, the tests aren't what's making people catch it.
So America's deaths above average levels for this time period is what in comparison to other countries?

Give it a rest. They haven't tested more people at all when you compare it properly. The countries that have this under control tested far more far earlier and that's how they've got it under control. Comparatively, the US and the UK have been absolutely shocking at testing and we were, before all of this kicked off, ranked #1 and #2 respectively for pandemic control in the world. Responses from both governments has been utterly shocking and both the US and the UK are going to be in serious trouble over the next few weeks. The worst is yet to come, especially with all this talk of ending the lockdown early and just how little people seem to care about preventing the spread.

Having said that, Trump is the lowest of the low given what he comes out with and the way he's handled this whole thing, with thousands of people dying everyday and him patting himself on the back for a job well done. What are you basing your hypothesis that testing is the single variable that's the difference between countries that had fewer overall cases of Covid19?
Within the same country, America, New York with it's dense population and reliance on public transport has faired much worse than California which has a more spread out population and a state with very little provision for public transport, yet testing is the variable you think is responsible?

Trump failed his country badly which was broadly expected due to his character flaws. Boris didn't do much better until he had a brush with his own mortality. The preparedness plans weren't put into action anywhere near soon enough, Boris procrastinated on a lockdown that should have started two weeks earlier IMO.

As bad as we are, we haven't withdrawn funding from the WHO, Trump doing so is deflection pure and simple.
Boris has his character flaws as well (who doesn't?), but lying like a 3 year old caught with his hand in the cookie jar, then attempting to use deflection techniques and stamping his feet and storming off when it doesn't work aren't one of them. Back in the day I recall thinking that Bush Jr was bad, with hindsight he doesn't even merit scoring on the Trumpian Narcissism scale. It's impressive that one con-man has managed to move the boundaries of presidential behaviour so far into the sewers in so little time.
I read somewhere it’s been a year or so since they stopped contributing to the WHO. Obviously that’s on Trump and his admin, just like they said there wasn’t pandemic playbook left by the previous administration, there was. And just like he cut funding to the CDC last year or early this year.
