None of that is relevant as we are talking about the Trump impeachment. Start a thread if you want to talk about the intricacies of that ct scandal.

He may be allowed some leeway on some things, he isn't allowed to abuse his position to try and get an investigation into a political rival.

But let her waste more money on trying to sue Clinton, she’s going to get laughed out of court. Everyone knows she’s just doing it to get more support for her joke of a campaign.

Obama and the Democrats did it with FISA warrants in 2016 with a few cronies in the FBI. Biden has admitted to a "Quid Quo Pro" (with Obama's blessing) to cover up his sons corruption on video. It seems to be perfectly alright to do these things as long as you aren't Trump or a Republican.

He didn't, he asked them to look in the 2016 election and corruption etc. It's his presidential duty to do so. Why do you insist on the CT about the 2020 election. Biden was not running for 2020 when the meetings happened.

There is no valid reason why himself or his other cabinet members cannot testify that Trump is innocent and that the scheme that the Democrats have accused him of coming up with, didn't exist.

At the very, very least, they could all sign sworn affidavits to say this. Why would they not, when it would be massively helpful to Trump's defence?

Executive privilege and classification should not be used to mask abuses of power/corruption/crimes.

Seems the natural thing to do when you are the head of your own government, ask the newly elected leader of another country to look into your own election. Blocking bills and measures that specifically bolstered your own election security and cutting funding for the same thing (eventually caving a year later thanks to the Democrats) is also another pragmatic approach.

It's astonishing isn't it. Even though this has been debunked a million times the world over (even many times in this thread) and even though it was quite clearly the bi-partisan policy of the United States and its allies, they still think it was to stop an investigation (which had stalled anyway) into Burisma, for a period before Hunter was even there!

It is a ridiculous conspiracy theory and nothing more.

Why is it ok for Obama to investigate/spy on Trump when he was running for president?
