Absolutely, its very much the sort of car you only buy if you particularly want one. It isn't the sort of car you buy after almost buying an RX8 knowing nothing about it whilst considering an old Toyota Supra or perhaps a Skyline oh wait I've just doubled my budget and now I can just afford a cheap M5. The purchase price is simply a deposit into a whole world of cost

Hell, I would be tempted to get some classic soft top if you have a garage to keep it. It will be cheap to fix as being old it should be simple mechanics.

Up until recently I've been very tempted by the RX8, but I'm just not sure now, especially after this thread.

Lol they way I'm looking at it is that it'll be doing limited millege a year cos I'm not home enough to drive it all the time! The van is the work horse, which I take up to jobs use for 3 months then drive home! Mini is my little gym that I've done up and don't want to use in winter as its mint! But because I sleep in the van a lot ( camper) I dont want to then drive it when I'm off to!
Therefore something fun when I'm home will be the key! It'll be in a garage when I'm away all tucked up
