Done something stupid on eBay

whats he going to do, bitch to ebay about you and you get a non-payment warning, big deal, lol at all the people on this thread with morals, its ebay ffs
I LOL when you try sell something on ebay and the winning bidders fail to pay up...

Lucky there not to many people on ebay like you....
I myself use to be an ebay seller and out of 1000 items sold i only had about 2 people that didn't pay..

Not meaning to rub salt into a wound, but I sold my 04 RX8 last year because it was costing me a fortune in repairs. I bought it with 45k on the clock and it was amazing for the first 6 months. After that it cost me close to £3000 in repairs for various bits and bobs AND was probably the most unreliable car I've owned.

Buy it, don't buy.

Do what you want, you don't have to justify your morals or choices to internet forum people.

Personally I would have realised how much of a stupid thing I had done and not buy. Each to their own.

Personally I wouldn't be stupid enough to bid on cars I don't want on eBay in the first place and then mess someone about when I realise what an idiot I am.

I haven't refused to pay! I just said I would not be paying anything untill the v5 was back with him and I could call a garage on Monday!

I can't link him with a Facebook account ! Do you know him or something?

run run as fast as you can !

Just don't buy it and let him give you negative feedback.

1 negative feedback on an otherwise perfect record won't make a jot of difference to anybody.

he's done you a favour

Just walk away and let him leave you negative feedback.

Nice to see we all take the principals of an auction seriously.

neither does the seller seemingly.

Yea exactly! If tomo I called the Mazda garage and they turn around say oh yes it's got a history of this this and this then I'd be happier but he didn't even allow me 2 days :/

Thats kinda the sort of thing you do before you buy a car not after.

His name isn't the one you mentioned is hyett

Hey its ebay

these things happen. The seller has relished and moved on now anyway.

You could send him a really nice email apologising for messing him around and that you're really sorry.

It will likely just get binned or ignored, or taken as invitation to abuse you by email however. Such is life on the internet.

And idiots having this mentality is why ebay is a joke.

ive had to relist a cooker for the second time this weekend. first time someone won it thinking it was dual fuel when its listed as an electric cooker.

second time they came round to collect, realised it was stainless steel, but thought it was white, despite there being a photo and a model number...

well vie told the guy im just calling mazda to see about any history he's not replying so i guess i got out of that one luckily! lesson learned!
