Double overtaking

Have you calculated that, or is that what the speedo says? (I'm curious)

It's what the speedo says - 110 on the dot.

So i'm not sure what that translates to with a GPS figure. And it's now raining on my private runway so I don't want to try. :p

No it's only a five speed, but i don't think it misses the extra gear too much as it's got a pretty wide powerband. Still I wouldn't scoff at another gear!

Seems to be geared fairly long, does just over 70 (speedo) in 2nd. Can't remember what first goes too but it's pretty long again...

EDIT: It's the old 1.8 20VT version by the way... they might come with 6 speeds by now.

damm, thought this was about overtaking a car while it is overtaking another car.
Time the gearchange right and you can announce to your competitor as you pass him that yes, you do have a turbo'd, dump-valved, child eating, old woman scaring, flame-spitting monster innit!!!

Seriously though, yes, I have done this manouvre on a few occasions, and usually make sure I have enough grunt to pass (M3), as some drivers feel obliged to keep you out so you can't get passed, it's perhaps them who are being stupid not the overtaker. Thing is when you are committed to the manouvre when do you decide to give up and pull back in? Easy to say here, but in that exact moment if you know your car is faster.....
