Going for my third year. Just packed most of my things all thats left is the most important of all, beer.

Yes, the app is good but im taking a nokia 1 or something instead of anything of value.

Just spend £6 in a pound shop - listerine, johnsons baby powder, pampers baby wipes, tooth brush, dry shampoo, sungalsses

Fair enough, did the same thing pound shop wise, even managed to get a 10l water canteen.

24 beers and a litre of Morgan Spiced for me I think.

Should this cover rain and shine - 1 vest, 1 hoody, 1 swim shorts, 1 jeans, 2 tshirts, trainers, hiking boots, waterproof coat, 5 socks, 5 boxers (stuff includes things im wearing to go down on thursday)

What are the best type of socks to take?

Not sure on the socks, just make sure your boots don't rub and give you blisters.

How does the camping work in terms of where you end up? I'm going down with 3 mates, we all bought tickets separately and they don't say anything on.
Do we just turn up and go where the hell we like?!

Tent, sleeping bag, rollmatt and chair all ready. Clothes half packet... Probably ought to hunt down a waterproof looking at the current forecast! Will be grabbing some food and beer tomorrow.

Yup, my friend who has been many times says Blue will fill up first then usually white, green and red

If its anything like Leeds Festival, Blue will be the camp that looks like Bosnia after a 2 or 3 days. I'm talking bad, 50% of tents ripped down, rubbish all over the place, fireworks, flares and fires going off, stuff being thrown around... (maybe Download is different)

Personally I quite enjoyed it drinking with friends in that camp are for a bit - but certainly wouldn't want to try and sleep there!
