Had a parcel which should arrived today. My instructions if out is to leave behind the wheelie bin by my front door (there is a crevice which can't be seen very well from the outside). Plus to avoid the people at a property a few doors down.

Guess what? The courier left the parcel with the b***h at the property above. She is a nasty piece of work and has complained about me to the police when I have done nothing wrong. She shouts at me with lies at work and follows me. The store manager will ban her if he sees her repeating this.

I am scared to go to her home. Doubt she will come to mine with parcel.

I understand that this is the busiest weeks for couriers but on the DPD the instructions and avoids are in different boxes.

I have messaged the company who I bought from

mate consider yourself lucky, I had one deliever driver knock on my door so I could help him read his own delivery label on the parcel, because it didn't have a number on the label.

Suggested that he used his barcode reader to find the infomation from his system and if it's not there contact his office, cos the parcel wasn't mine.

knock on her door and get said parcel. Job done.

edit: hold on you messaged the company you bought it from before knocking on her door? Genuinely what has the world come to

Thinking any delivery driver is going to read instructions at this time of year with the amount they need to deliver

I've done delivery work, no one ever reads the instructions as 9 times out of 10 they are completely useless.

I'm amazed at how many people can't tell left from right. You can probably guess which gender gets them mixed up the most.

One of those things which makes you despair for the future of humanity when you read them LOL... probably 30% of people manage to actually put something concise, normal and meaningful. Some expect the delivery driver to jump through hoops and/or are incredibly entitled, others for some reason put an essay involving spurious details about what is going on in their life and why that means the driver has to do X and Y, etc. never mind the ones which make zero sense at all.

Ever think you might have ****** off your delivery driver?

I will keep a neutral tone when I try to get my parcel from her (no idea if she has a fella or not).

If she moans - I will lie saying my porch door was unlocked and I have complained to DPD….
No need to make up a lie, she's probably already read the instructions to specifically avoid delivering to her house
