Drag me to hell

Raimi classic - I don't know what some of you were expecting after Evil Dead set his bench mark. It was hardly going to be a physcological thriller was it?

I don't like horror generally, but I liked this.

I watched this the day it came out with my GF. I must say we, and 80% of the rest of the audience laughed almost all the way through the movie. In my opinion it wasn't scary in the slightest, but for the sheer laughs it was probably (just) worth the few quid it cost to get in. Wouldn't watch it again if they paid me though. :p

Thought it ok - not quite Evil Dead, but certainly more enjoyable than most horror is these days.

However, there was something that got me (spoiler):
At the end, when she gets the button in the envelope... I thought a 'neat twist' would be if he'd had a wedding ring in there to propose to her. However, she does get dragged to hell so everything turns out all right

huh?

did you see the film..

the coin was in the grave, the button was still in his bag..

I thought it was great.. certainly didn't expect the jumps to start so soon!

30 seconds in, I've only just gotten comfy, and my g/f is digging her fingers into my arm and spilling popcorn :p

I thought the talking goat/dancing posessee bits were fantastic also.. there's nothing wrong with a bit of slapstick in yer horror, and it wasn't meant to be a psychological thriller!

Great film, with excellent audio, and fantastic jumpy moments, with some fabulous gross-out moments :D
