Dragon Age Inquisition

I've gotten to the part...

Haven is attacked after I closed the breach

And I'm Just wondering how far along the main quest I currently am (Hopefully lots more to do because I'm taking my time and really enjoying it!) but I'm going to need to organise some free time to play at this rate. :)

You're maybe 20% of the way through the main story.

Also, with regards to Mantle. It was killing my fps and making things stuttery, switching to DX11 solved my problems.

Pass!

(Just a picture, not really a spoiler)

Edit- one down!

3 hours in and not sure how I feel about things at the moment... Not being able to set my party up to fight the way I wanted was a real shocker, and may become a major negative for me. Picking up loot and targeting the rifts is also irritating. Early days though, so maybe it'll grow on me.

Technically, it looks nice and runs smoothly, with a mixture of High and Ultra settings on my AMD 760k and 4GB R9 270X card. Maybe that's Mantle doing it's thing, or what, I don't know at the moment. Really haven't tinkered with the settings yet.

Shame those cut scenes judder along at 30fps. That's actually quite poor. :(

Can someone give me a yes/no answer to this question please?

Are there any desire demons that you get to talk to?

Having trouble getting this running smoothly on xfire 290s. gpu usage sits around 60% on each card with everything on ultra bar MSAA which is at 2xaa. Any tips? Running the latest betas and mantle at 1440p

I have crossfire 290s too, switching to DX11 fixed my problems.

Is there any point playing this on a GTX970, or is it optimised for AMD cards only?

Given the disgraceful state of recent releases, I don't fancy throwing more money at lazy developers.
