Dragon Age Inquisition

Gonna complete it tonight and save some for after. I still have 4 whole areas I haven't even been to!

I did the same. I wrapped up my first play through in 27 hours but figure I've done less than half the content. I knew I'd want to do a second play through with a different class, choices etc after completing Far Cry 4, so I left myself plenty of content to make sure it still feels new.

Only played a little bit of DA:O ( I know I should play more) and never touched DA:2 but I can't believe how much I am enjoying this. Having to look on wiki etc about a couple of things but its by far the best RPG I've played in a very long time.

Same here. I've always wanted to get really stuck into an rpg but always felt a bit meh when I played them. This is actually really hooking me and there is SO MUCH to do.

Completed the main quest. Tbh, it is a little underwhelming, but in a way I quite like that. It was barely distinguishable from side quests and that is something I like. Main villain is pants though.

BTW, fantastic scene after the credits!...throws up lots of possibilities.

How many hours did it take you to complete the main story quest?

Decent looking game, player hair looks terrible (thank goodness for hats :p) and movement feels very clunky with the mouse. Had a quick test with the 360 pad and seemed better with that.

As for performance I have to leave it at 2xMSAA (everything else maxed 1440P) if I want to keep those 60fps...

What about the combat do you find atrocious?

No tactics
8 potions, with conveniently placed caches everywhere.
No healing mages.
Companions just do whatever they want no matter what you 'set'
Colourful explosions does not make it exciting.
Some enemies have far too much health/guard that just turns it in to a grind
Tactical camera is a joke.
Main one- timing based gameplay but animations get locked in and it really doesn't work.

Rogue/assassin at the moment, crits from stealth are awesome. I quite like the combat. :)

Level 19 at the moment and some of the dragons still kicking my ass.
