I'm a bit stuck...

Question, I got up to the quest where I was about to unlock Skyhold with my mage, re rolled into a rogue as my gf is playing a mage and I wanted to play rogue all along. Glad I did! I'm almost at the same point after another 18 hours play but a few more side quests to do in the Hinterlands and just finishing off the Fallow Mire (Already done Storm Coast, killed the giant!).
Anyway, I made some tasty new grips giving my daggers 8% crit chance, but I can't actually apply them? They are tier 2 'upgrades'. With no requirements.

That's the daggers I'm applying too, and I'm pretty sure the grips are not dual blade... Any ideas? They just don't show up in the list of grips I can apply.
Note, I'm only level 9, the daggers are 188 dps, so bottom range.

I just think anything to do with the actual story should be spoilered regardless of how long the game has been out

I didn't mention anything to do with the story at all, simply an event... And even at that, it's not spoiling anything! There has to be a line both sides. If I were to detail dialogue, story direction, character progression etc. Then hell yes. But in terms of gameplay and minor achievements to common enemies, I don't think it is...

Anyone got any knowledge on this?

This may help some people so il share my experience with you all.
I had posted a few pages back of a bug which caused new characters to spawn into an empty fade world, or a limbo world where nothing was around.
I found the solution to this was to remove a command line i had previously put in place to fix the old cut scene 60fps cap bug. It was placed in the game properties of the origin game launcher app.
So if you experience this bug have a look there!
Secondly after finally getting a new character sorted, i begin to play for a short while and end up with another bug. I had really bad fps drops for 30 secs plus every few mins.
to solve this i turned off all my GPU overclock software (MSI afterburner with the riva tuner OSD) and turned off all MSAA, AA and HBAO. Eveything else is set to max.
So far a few hrs in nothing at all bug wise to report!!
Finally get to enjoy the game now.
Hopefully this could help a few others too.

Wait, you can make cutscenes or animated objects (windmill) run at 60fps? Hate seeing birds fly around at 30fps whilst I'm running 60. Looks entirely stupid.

I'm a rogue and use daggers/stealth.
Party members are:
Cassandra - Tank
Vivienne - Mage
Sera - Archer
I enjoy all 3 of them, although Cassandra is a bit of a bore. Also, can you romance multiple people? Or just one?

according to the wiki the dagger has no upgrade slots

Varric - Ranged Rogue
Solus - Mixed buff mage
Me - Sword and board
Tempted to swap out solus for one of the other mages and potentially swap out Cassandra for Iron Bull

Huh, I've already replaced their handles... Unless I'm mistaken, I will check tonight. Either way, I need to up my crit chance.
As for party, nice! Surely Iron Bull would be the better 2H'er no?
How do you manage their perks? Manually or automatic? I've just done auto all the time, thinking this might not have been the best idea...

Manually as I have found certain situations have benefited my branching out of their primary tree and taking an ability elsehwere.
I respecced Cassandra to a 2H from sword and board early on as I intended to play that style and didnt see the point in 2, This was before any of the others came along
