Dragons' Den

How, praytell, do you mix the order of the songs on a pre-mixed CD you buy from the shops?

You dont, but technology these days is much better than technology was when CDs were released, so I have higher expectations.

What you just said is a bit like making CDs so you couldn't skip to a track and then say "well you couldn't with tapes"

Its a brilliant show i try and watch it every week.

I seen that Richard Farleigh guy (the australian), in a hotel bar room playing on his laptop.

Think i heard him shout 'OMG HAXING WHORE' when I was walking away. :)

What the hell was that yoga thing all about in episode 4?

repeat from last week.

I hadn't seen it and i loved the cucumber cap geezer, first time anyone has been offered a job on there. Round postcards an all, what a nutter. :D
Dragon says " How do you post them mate" :p

Tonight's show was the first one I've watched in it's entirety. All good fun although the little preview clips they show of 'contestants' to appear later on the show are really annoying, we could do without those giving the game away.

I thought the ID checker thing looked quite promising (especially considering he claimed to have raked in 10+20+40+60k revenue in under 4 months of operation), although I'm suprised none of the dragons asked more questions about the scanning device, e.g. why is the slot so small (hard to get a passport in there I would have thought?), and how does it cope with forgeries? I think the what scared most of the off in the end was the fact that he didn't have a long term exclusive license on the technology.

Was quite shocked to see the two lads getting a deal, I mean I know very little about business and even I can see that you can't run stores with only 1 single member of staff! They seemed a little naive but I guess the fact that they presented their ideas quite well and had a potentially viable product swayed it in the end, coupled with the hefty 50% stake of course :)

Brilliant news, keep it up, I take it you still can't really delve into much detail during the interviews? If and when you get on the actual show can you please slap that presenter! :p :D

I can't believe how many people turn them down. I know they want a large percentage but still where else are you going to get the money and more importantly to get the expertise. you might be left with 40%, but 40% of a few million is better than a great invention you cant sell.

Then once they made a few mill then they can do there next idea all alone.

You could also eventually buy back the Dragons percentage of your company.

I watched last nights episode but can't really remember it well enough to discuss anything. I'll watch it again online when I get home.

That woman they were all annoyed at last night was a read me I thought she was going to cry during her introduction.
