Hang on a minute I thought I'd already seen The Raid.

Saying that I don't actually care as this still looks quite good, I do like Judge Dredd, it's one of the VERY few comics I've ever actually enjoyed.

I think the uniform is quite close to the original designs before it became more stylised with massive pads and boots.

If only they had gone with a better plot. Something from the Dark Judges (Fear,Fire,Mortis Death) would have been great.

2000AD had a great pool of characters they could have used. Instead they go with some woman with a super drug called slow-mo......words fail me

And what is it with the Guy playing Dredd, was he trying to be like Christian Bale from Batman with the deep rasping throaty voice? And the looks is all wrong, and as for the bikes....

Nope. It's going to bomb hard this one.

Sums it right up, looks good to the eye, but thats no judge dredd. I rather liked Stallone as Dredd, thought he captured it very well. Karl urban has had some good roles in the past, but i dont think he makes a good dredd tbh.

RT is a very niche character, mostly known only to 2kAD fans. If they made a film it would probably be made low budget and that could be worse.

Will give this one the benefit of the doubt.

Thankfully the movie is picking up some very positive reviews on the back of its public debut at Comic Con.

It seems it's violent in the extreme!

Pretty much all of Stallone's and Arnie's films back in the 80's and 90's are pure classics!

Whilst the Stallone one was maybe flavoured with cheese it captured the comic essence far more than this new one looks like it will.

edit: would love to see a movie with Judges Death, Fear, Fire and Mortis.......and a sexy psi Anderson (maynbe Pammi could play her...fo' sho!).
