Dredd trailer

I absolutely LOVE Dredd (both comics and film) but the trailer/marketing was so bad I can understand why so many were turned off.

There's one bit in the trailer where Karl looks into the camera and says "yeah". Makes me cringe and weep.

You're in disbelief because some people liked a film you didn't? Will you also be in disbelief if I dislike a film that you think is fantastic?

As a Dredd fan I thought they did a great job with this. Captured the atmosphere well and Urban was awesome. Strange plot to choose what with literally hundreds of awesome Wagner scripts to choose from but really enjoyed it. Bring on the dark judges in the sequel.

Really enjoyed Dredd, simple but really effective and one of my favourite films of the year.

I would definitely go to see a sequel!

I watched it on Sunday evening, I ****ing loved it! Straight on Wiki afterwards to see about a sequel, and then I was disappointed.

I really do hope they make more with Urban as Dredd.

Cracking Dread movie, agree with The Darkness their are some many excellant plots to choose from. My choice would be Block Wars or Judge Death or the Judge Child or acutally there are some many to choose from.

i think the biggest issue with the box office figures was the way a lot of places ONLY had it in 3D which seem's to have put many people off. also in the states a lot of fans have said the marketing was a bit flat compared with other action films.

Agreed. Actively avoided it at the cinema as 3d gives me a sore head. Only 4 cinemas in the whole of Scotland were showing it in 2d.
