Drive Health only monitors temperatures if the hard drive supports it and my hard drive doesn't, so it doesn't affect the warnings in my case but I agree with your comments.Craig321 said:I really think this program will be inaccurate quite a bit of the time.
If the day is hot then the hard drive will be hotter than usual and the case might not be getting as much cooling as it should meaning this hard drive health thing might say it's going to fail within the next week. But then the next day the drive might have cooled down or something and the program might not even have a TEC date for it yet because it's nice and healthy.
If the OP had a hard drive that does support temperature monitoring then your above scenario could happen I suppose.
