Driveclub more details

Sat down with this properly this morning, and tried to hammer out a few of the beginner challenges.
Really like how this game plays, reminds me of PGR, which is a good thing!

Is anyone playing this with a wheel? Does it work well with this game?
I feel like it'd play well with one, so might need to be a next payday purchase...

I'm just downloading the PS+ edition to see if I like it.

Am I right in thinking the only different between the PS+ version and full is game is the number of tracks + cars available?

Still play it regularly but not online, been too busy finding the perfect combos of track, time of day and weather to experience some epic races and get some awesome screenies.

Edit:

Skip to 1:55, man I love Driveclub, talk about wiping the floor with the competition.
Anyone else notice that lagging in the Forza 6 sections? 60fps??? Yeah ok, with major dips. At least DC maintains a solid 30fps which has been proven by testers.

Seems like PEGI has rated "Driveclub Bikes", it's seperate from Driveclub's rating though. Will most likely find out more at today's conference in Paris: http://gematsu.com/2015/10/driveclub-bikes-rated-ps4-europe
Sounds more fitting for the type of racing and tracks in Driveclub, honestly.

Also something more interesting for me. Not a fan of realistic looking, but arcadey handling car racing games, but I think I'd enjoy that with bikes.

Releases on Thursday (edit: Today?!?) it seems from the leaks - trying to find out if it only standalone or DLC for DC too.

Not sure how well bikes would work in DC, always find the bike demos that I just seem to understeer into corners while going slower than the CPU and outbreak myself everywhere else...

erm maybe I'm being a tad greedy, but £2 discount for existing drive club owners? Anyone else think thats a little low - how many bikes do you get, and I take it no new tracks in this DLC pack?

Showing up on store as £11.99 so £3 discount? (someone has it wrong somewhere) https://store.playstation.com/#!/en...sion/cid=EP9000-CUSA00003_00-XXXXXXXXXDCBIKES

But I agree, there's 12 bikes so £1 a bike, and while it may have a new tour mode, it's the same tracks? I defo would have liked a new location to be honest, maybe I am also a tad greedy but I am a little hesitant about getting it.

I get the feeling this isn't the new season pass - might wait to see if they bundle both. No real rush to ride bikes, only ever enjoyed them in Motorstorm while in GTA5 it was just an excuse to die quicker...

Bikes in GTA V are godly. Get into first person and it is the ultimate way to traverse the world.

I've got some videos I haven't uploaded that showcase the brilliance of simply cruising around in the world on a bike with some electro-synth at night.

Whats the bikes handle like? Presume they have exaggerated braking like DC cars - can you high/low side using them?
No, no crashing, unfortunately.

And yes, the handling is very arcade-y and forgiving, just like the cars in the game.

I love it. Wasn't a fan of the cars(too used to playing racing sims), but the bikes have made this game relevant to me again. Just a lot of fun leaning into turns and the game's trademark exaggerated sense of speed and beautiful scenery with fast flowing roads works even better here.

Downside is that for the price(£12 if you've already got the base game), you basically only get the bikes. No new tracks or anything. And there's not a ton of variety with the bikes. All superbikes from what I can tell.
