Driveclub more details

Rfactor 2 has tire deformation, flat spots, etc. Not overly keen on it but it effects that game a lot.

See I'm the opposite, I'm not overly keen on the bikes but the season pass is good so far. So many trophies to get now.

Well yea, rFactor 2 uses those in the actual physics simulations. Which is fantastic and how they should be implemented. It is not simply cosmetic like in Driveclub, where it serves no purpose other than for slow-mo, up-close replays or action screenshots.

Love this game but have to say i think the bikes are a pretty poor addition.

Not that bikes aren't awesome they are just not implemented well imho

I suck with bike games, I never seem to keep them on the track, so didn't bother with the bike update. Looking forward to new tracks next year.

Driveclub is a good arcade racer, provides some good fun at times. So further updates to the game, its engine and graphics always good to see.

They handle horrid in this! Driveclub itself is ace though in fact ive almost got all of the award start things on it!

For you two saying the bikes handle horrid - why is that? What comparison are you going off of? Cuz this is an arcade racer. The cars handle 'horrid' by that standard as well. Not sure what's so bad about them otherwise.

I dont know if everyone is aware that you need to adjust the rider position to get the best out of the bikes, just turning left/right isnt always enough. You need to push slightly up and left/right to get the bike to turn the best but you lose traction, pushing slight down and left/right gives much better traction but doesnt turn as sharp

if you naturally push slightly down to turn then the bikes just wont turn that sharp at all and probably feel horrid!

The bikes are pretty cool, but even though I'm massively into bikes in real life, I think the cars are more fun to drive. Nothing can beat turning in massively early into a drift, slightly clipping the apex and nailing it out of the corner.

Well I was going to play this tonight but it won't update at all.

Keep getting error NW-31472-7, Nothing on google to suggest a fix and I've rebuilt the database already :(

Edit: Well it's something to do with sky broadband, I connected via 4G and it's downloading now :(

You could try resetting your router. (switch the ps4 off first so it shuts down, reset the router and ones that's backup running and connected switch the ps4 on).

I have the PS plus edition of Driveclub which I plan to start playing soon can I add the currently discounted £5 season pass DLC to this or do I need to have the "proper" version?

Cheers
