i do like the pedals, but then i am comfortable modding stuff as i see fit. also i am really fussy when it comes to details like that.
you could check the progress of the thrustmaster load cell mod for the t500 pedals and maybe get that setup. higher initial cost, but most people see no need to upgrade from the t500rs after buying one.

If you're new to sim racing I wouldn't blow a load of money on top end gear. I've seen it before when people buy triple screens, a rig and fancy wheel, button box, the whole nine yards only to lose interest after a few weeks.
Unless you need to connect to an xbox also, the G27 is a great start because you get decent pedals and h-shifter too, not the best by any means but nice quality. Mine is still going strong after two years of solid use, easy to mod it too.
By no means have i, got a DFgt for 65 new and im after a pedals set with clutch and a stick shifter, its going to be used quite abit but stored when not used, cant wait to get this all set up, might be able to get a g27 pedals so might not be a problem
