I see these are now avalable for import, has anyone here got one yet?

Mines due to be shipped on the 22nd of Nov.

But they did say they might not be able to fulfil all orders until the end of Dec.

They're freaking £38 (exc postage too)! Plus you'd probably have to pay VAT on top of that when it imports

Gimme a clue where you ordered it from, tried the asian site but they are not shipping to european union.
Had a look on the bay, seen some on there from america available for immediate shipping.

Think it was £35 and I did have a voucher too to get $5 off but not sure it would still be valid.

Also I dont think they are taking anymore pre-orders due to expected stock shortages.

I'd be very wary mate, Sony have said there will be limited numbers going to each company in Asia for now.

Just checked the sellers feedback, and has lots of positives, at least 10 on first page are for the Dual Shock 3 delivered within the last 3 days.

PS: you getting white or black?

Ah that sounds ok then mate, go for it

I went for White (just wish it had white buttons to match, or at least light grey ones like the PSOne pad and not jet black)

I like to be different

I missed out on getting in an early order through the Asian sites as well. (Don't fancy placing an order and waiting in a queue for ages if I can get it of the bay).

I bought mine off the bay. Should be here any day now. They are more expensive, but the regular ones are not much cheaper so I'd rather get a better controller for my money.

Ouch, it's around £45 even with the strong pound!!! Yet worryingly tempting...

Yeah i know what your saying RP, but it's not out over here for another 3 or 4 months, so an extra £10 for it is not that bad

Personaly i'm dissapointed they did not take this oppertunity to re-design the controler from the ground up properly.

For me without doubt the PS shape and layout is the worst there is out there. Its akward to use the thumbsticks and they obstruct the start/select buttons. The d-pad is not even that good considering its central positioning. Hopefully they have atleast beefed up the weight of it.
