Dubstep thread

This is killing me. What the name of the track and video if its still available of the Rusko track starts "Rusko... Rusko....Rusko" The rest of the track is sort of chillout / ambient dubstep and the video is of nature, like sped up sunrises, sunsets and at one point there is the famous clip of a shark that jumps about 20ft out of the sea.

I have searched this whole thread, youtube aswell and still cannot find it

Oh, and check the Creamfields 2012 lineup!!

Just about everyone apart from Rusko...

That should read "Just about everyone a commercial 'dubstep' fan would enjoy".

Skream, benga, caspa, andy c - they have all been around for donkeys years, especially Skream.

The only way any artists get commercial is by getting good, which makes way for none commercial, they the cycle continues

I remember going to see Skream and Rusko in a club years ago before dubstep was 'commercial' not many people were there. A year later they came back and sold out the venue

Andy c does DNB.
To make it commercially you need to be popular not at the top of your game, the "more successful" artists seem to have taken a step back in terms of music.

Excellent selection Janesy B, I am deffo on an old skool flex myself at the mo, I used to spend hours per day finding new dubstep and it is just pretty stale now.

Am loving listening to the minimalist, big warm bass, detailed percussion mellowness of the older stuff again now.

Tamil Dub is a rude tune, I can't seem to remember hearing it before! Nice.

Thanks, just went on a mad one and dug out what I was feeling old & new. I know what you mean about the minimal approach, long gone is the art of letting samples and bass stand up on their own, it's all about who can make the most fidgety synth laden nightmare of a tune for teenagers to most to.

Most of the stuff I'm interested in now seems to be on Chestplate and Black Box.

Found this the other day, proper heavy stuff, and going straight into my upcoming DJ set.

I'll also upload the DJ set to here :D
