Loved Dungeon Keeper back in the day. Downloaded and will give this a play sometime soon.![]()
Tefal you ****ing legend, mine was crashing to desktop whenever i began a level - copied your config file and it runs flawlessly now. Gonna have some nostalgia tomorrow!
There was a guy doing a remake of DK1, Natural Born Keeper I think it was called. I put the feelers out for doing an open source DK3, entitle War for the Overworld. There was a great deal of concept work started, but it never got further than that as far as I know.
OK, now it works: I too had forgotten to apply the patch to version 0.37c. High res modes don't seem to work correctly though: all switching does is slow the game down and restrict the zoom.
And someone was asking about the Deeper Dungeons? They're on there, labelled as the Free Dungeons or something similar in the Campaigns section.

These are the last 3 lines of the error log:
Sync: get_startup_menu_state: Standard startup state selected
Sync: Frontend state change from 0 into 1
Sync: Created menu at slot 0, pos (0,0) size (640,480)
weird that the size is 640,480 as I have changed all the sizes to my default monitor res 1280x1024 in the cfg file and it makes zero difference.

Q: Game stops when loading a map. LOG file says:
Error: setup_screen_mode: Unable to setup screen resolution
640x400x8 (mode 10)
A: The problem is that your drivers can't support 640x400 mode.
Change the resolution config lines in KEEPERFX.CFG into:
FRONTEND_RES=640x480x8 640x480x8 640x480x8
INGAME_RES=640x480x8
switch ress then restart the game.
Having problems running, when I click on eve smile to load the map it crashes to desktop. Have coppied the above cfg with the new resolutions added.
