Dying Light - PC next gen zombie open world game?

lol guys, it was not that scary. Plus it is just a bunch of pixels...

I actually really liked how you was weak in the first game and slowly got stronger and the game became easier as a result. I hope they continue that as it makes sense.

I still need to finish The Following. I guess I better do that soon.

There were some very tense moments. I remember one of those early missions where you have to get the crate. It became very easy once you could use the blend in ability though.

I was last some silly high legendary level and nights are still scary for me. I'd put it down to the superb ambient sounds in the game that lend itself well to night times. The Following is brilliant even though they could have better made use of that huge landscape they created.

Absolutely loved the first one. I too played most of it at day as night scared the hell out of me. :D

I'll definitely be purchasing.

Started a second play through due to changing OS (never finished it first time).

Loaded it up last night, forgot I was on the bridge about to start the floodlights night mission.

Night + surrounded by a zombie horde + volatiles + midnight = nope :P

Haha. See I love that feeling.

The only one's I am not a fan of are cheap scares when they are used over and over where something pops out of nowhere. But when used sparingly and well they are great also. Example the dogs popping out the windows in Resident Evil, that was awesome :D

I actually may replay this game if I get the time before the new one comes out. Do we have a rough release date for the new one yet?

To be fair once I got skilled up, I found all the night missions relatively easy so may do that in The Following which I'll install later in the week. Started playing Assassin's Creed Origins but just can't get along with the historical setting and the less "urban" feel.

I want to see the Turkish brothers Tolga and Fatin. Loved those crazy ****** :D
Oh yeah, they were hilarious in The Following iirc regarding that large contraption of theirs :D

The Following is brilliant, and that buggy is great fun to customise. I just found the large landscape a tad underused. I am currently playing through AC:O and I felt the same way - it takes a good while to get started (some 6-7hrs) before things get better. Combat is a mess though.

Powered this up last night cant remember why i stooped playing it, something must have come out and taken my interest. Going to finish the main game then get the Following in preparation of 2,.

What's the deal with saving and auto save in The Following? I find that in vanilla I could simply use the lift in the tower or use traders to trigger a save.

In this I find myself loading back into the game and then having to accept some side missions all over again, same random events happening, survivors etc. This is after game saves itself from finishing missions, am I missing something?

I've been meaning to play this for ages, but the SKUs are confusing. What is The Following? Is it a DLC? Standalone? GOTY version? Always put off buying because I couldn't be arsed trying to find out what I was buying....

may well be cheaper elsewhere but thats the package you want

the enhanced edition has the original and the dlc as well as some other improvements

and a fair price as well. graphics still look nice and serve the game well, I used to love watching the sun going down from a safe house then kipping overnight to avoid the volatiles

I used to hate going into the danger zones, where they resided during the day, tunnels were not so bad but there was a cave you had to swim into to get some ingredients and they were hiding in there as well!
