Dyling light issues

Have you turned off film grain?

Maybe double check the SLI settings in NVinspector and rollback to Nvidia drivers before the latest.

I had a few issues with dying light as well until I turned off film grain AND rolled back drivers, was getting drops to about 25fps, and now it doesn't drop below 60

Definitely something not right then. I've got everything maxed except the view distance to about a third up and it doesn't drop below 60fps. Following on from what Snips said, it sounds like a driver issue or something else up with your system. Every other game playing fine?

Just played a little of payday 2, 100FPS avg with SLI on.

Filgrain is off yea, I donno about rolling back drivers, With my other games running fine I don't wanna ruin it for just one game if you know what I mean.

I found turning off HBAO made a fair difference for me (AMD 7970 but still worth a try).

what happens if you turn every graphics setting down and also reduce the resolution?

Pretty sure I said this >.>

I think the only fix for this game is going to be called windows 10.

Am hoping it wont be too long and it's a free upgrade for most windows users, A start over will no doubt help every game :P

Thats really strange and no doubt frustrating!

Yea, Very pretty game and it looks really fun but I can't play it with such low fps with a 144 g-sync screen and twin 980s. No way :(

It could even go down to being my SSDs or a problem with windows.... Or ram... Or something.

But I can't see how I get 135 fps on payday and 40 on dyling light. Ohwell :P

Have you tried a fresh install of the game?

Seems an unexplainable issue if your drivers are up to date.

My single 290X performs better than your 980's SLI so something is deffo wrong.

CPU set back to 4ghz and voltage to auto made no change, Still low FPS.

Am wiping the game and redownloading/installing it then. After that if no dice am not entirely sure anymore. Could be anything honestly.

But thank you for the support guys, Should update this when the game downloads again but its a big game :P

Your gpu usage is still low in the payday 2 pic you put up. There's nothing wrong with the game as this is the first issue of its kind I've seen with a spec as good as yours. The low gpu usage in the two games you've shown points to an issue with your pc, either driver or hardware. Run heaven benchmark, you should see 99% usage on both gpu's. if not, defo an issue with your system.

There is that bug with the 970, where some users where complaining of low gpu utilisation.

Never heard of it with a 980 however. It's possible that one of your gpu's has this issue.

Then again, if it's only in this game, then I would say it's a game/driver issue.
