Dyling light issues

What's it like with a single card? Might be worth trying of you get sick of troubleshooting and just want to play it.

Have you tried a fresh install of the game?

Seems an unexplainable issue if your drivers are up to date.

My single 290X performs better than your 980's SLI so something is deffo wrong.

Same here, im avg 70 everything maxed, as said above, id try SLi off, so only using a single card, see how it runs.

Hey fokes, Am using low FPS issues with Dying light.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.7Ghz
GPUS : 2 X 980s watercooled.
Windows 8.1

Sli and Non SLI make zero dent in FPS, Am going to go with it's "Just the game that's broken" however checking google a lot of people claim that the main issue is there computer isn't good enough for it. Clearly mines is.

My FPS range from 20 fps to 60fps, Jumping a lot.

I also run G-sync but never really changes if it's on or off.

you got it set to the correct resolution not nvidia optimised settings where it may choose to render way above your actual res and downscale it for better image

Sounds like one of those bizarre unexplainable issues that PC as a platform can generally have. For example I cannot run The Secret World at all but friends with machines half as powerful as mine have no problem. My rig is about 50% as good as yours and Dying Light runs flawlessly. Welcome to PC gaming, best and most frustrating platform on Earth.

Sorry bro.

The utilization on them cards is so low, Have you tried forcing it into fullscreen, i have this issue on assetto corsa it looks full screen ( i think it's called borderless fullscreen? ) and i get 70fps ish and like 40% card use when i alt + enter i get 99% card use and 144fps :/ worth a shot?

I don't run vsync, I run G sync.

I never thought about checking if it was upscaling the game via the control panel. Worth a look at again but this is what I got this morning, I uninstalled drivers via windows then used DDU after that.

I normally always run SLI on fullscreen else I'd get issues.

Clean Build :D

Have you tried Revo Uninstaller? It's very good at locating remaining files once the uninstall process has completed. It may also be worth looking at CCleaner!

Have you checked the CPU usage? I am sure I read that this game has problems with it in some areas. Open task manager up, details, the rightclick the Dyinglight.exe and set affinity. Try it on the one core at first (0)

I can't find anything nivida related with Revo in the first place so it's kinda useless?

But yea, Just back from work. Windows refuses yet again to install the drivers so stuck with two useless gpus ¬.¬ I don't get it. I think windows files are corrupted to be fair.

Ok. Normally when you uninstall a program, it'll go through an additional check to remove any orphan registery keys and files. If it's found nothing, they've all gone.
