I heard rumours that eBay have done this to try and pick up sellers due to the change in OcUK marketplace rules.
I think they've introduced this in other territories and it's increased revenue so hopefully it's here to stay.Yeah but i suspect this is a temporary experiment by them to get a load of new users and then slowly introduce fees
I would not be sticking something as valuable as a 4090 on Ebay!!I'm considering selling my 4090 on there so not paying a couple of hundred in fees would be great, i fear the scammers though, i've had a couple of bad experiences although most have been fine. In fact i think i'm going to list my 4090 on here too, might not get quite as much but buyers less likely to be a scammer.

Over 130? Well hello there Mr Scalper/reseller.To put it into perspective, I've sold over 130 used GPU's on ebay over the years ranging from 280x,580,5700xt,1080ti,3060ti,3070,3080,3090 and never had a single issue or anyone trying to scam me, I make it obvious that the serial number will be recorded for security.. maybe that helps.

All free for private sellers as long as you don't pick the optional things or sell internationally. eBay won't charge any payment processing fees.As a seller, are there any fees to processs the payment? Eg if the buyer pays with paypal would you pay a fee then? Or is the whole thing fee free now for sellers?

This thread made me look on eBay for the first time in ages and ended up bidding on 5 Nintendo Switch games. Oh, well. I've never been very good at money management .
Bosses at eBay have scrapped fees for private sellers across most categories.
The online marketplace, which had already removed such fees for fashion earlier this year amid increasing competition from rival sites such as Depop and Vinted, said the move should boost reselling and the customer experience at the same time.
It means sellers no longer have to pay final value or regulatory operating fees on items except for cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles on the platform.
However, buyers are set to face a charge. How it will be applied is yet to be determined though it will take effect early next year, the company said.
Its UK boss told Sky News the fee would be "small".
