Most people know about the renaissance period though, I wasn't aware until now just how much Muslims have contributed to our society. Ive just been reading about the art of Muslim Europe and its just as impressive as the great library of Alexandria.

umm yeah eid mubarak, stubid wahabis posting eid for tuesday and asusual lining the back pocket of regents street moqsue, who then "donate" some of that to the other london mosques so we call all celebrate with the wahabis.

some people will and some wont. In most case Parents will but the kida Clothing etc. As for the older lot, Eid is way past them they'll just sit at home all day doing nothing.

Majority of Manchester are doing it wednesday, the few mosques which follow saudi (including some of my cousins) are doing it today. Same old story just a different year.

its like xmas for the kids, but i swear my family have lost the plot. im not allowed to spend money on new clothes, just new trainers, old everything else. there is no atmosphere of eid.

after coming out of itekaaf, i was so hyped about eid, feeling this time i had really really earned it, but it feels like one of the worst eids ever.

i am on my mums side where ALL my cusins are girls, and one is a guy but he is in manchester. my dads side is in halifax, where most of them are my age guys, but i only see them liek 2-3 times a year as my parents are divorced.

eid is not the same. no buzz. i wasnt even given fitrana to give into the mosque. it was so shameful going to the mosque and not giving fitrana at the door.

and for eid ul adha its worse, no qurbani, nothing.
