Hi Guys

Coming soon to OcUK and available for pre order, EK Watercooling Kits.

Until now, watercooling has been off-putting.
The costs involved and the myriad of choices available can be confusing to newcomers who crave the high performance, silence and gorgeous aesthetics that a watercooled system provides.
In the past, Watercooling Kits have nearly always had cheap, low quality parts in the box that are prone to failure or were generally low quality.

EK have stepped in and solved this problem. With each EK Kit you get everything you need to watercool your PC along with full installation instructions. this means you cant go wrong. You don't run the risk of ordering the wrong parts, and you are assured out of the box compatibility.
Pair this with the Ultra High End performance of EK products and you have the quick and easy solution you need to gain those extra MHz

Ideal for first time watercooling enthusiasts and seasoned veterans alike, transform your computer system

All of these kits offer the new EK Standard EN Nickel Plating method which ensures the highest quality nickel plating finish on your water blocks.

Overclockers UK recommends the use of Distilled Water or Watercooling Fluid which is available on this web-store.
To make the kit functional, the user needs 1Litre of Coolant.

Here is a video I have found that gives a great overview of the kit and also has links to unboxing videos of each component in the kit.

Hydronium cooling eh lol

EK kits all in a box, now that is an awesome idea, would certainly help those not so savvy tech people with watercooling and building a custom loop over those all in one abominations :D

This stuff scares the hell outta me  , but id love to have a go at water cooling :D and these kits dont look hugely expensive

its really not difficult at all. the most time consuming part is the research and these kits take that factor out of it.
all you do is buy whichever kit that suits your case [radiator size] and fit it.
it couldn't be easier. The kits all come with full instructions for everything. you cant go wrong.

it actually works out cheaper than buying the same components separately. :)

it does indeed :)

How much is the additional VGA block and fittings? I'll probably skip these kits for now since I recently bought a Silver Arrow but if I ever go WC it'll probably be with one of these kits depending on the reviews of course.

a vga block is dependant on what cards are out at the time.

and the fittings you just use the - EK-PSC Fitting 10mm - G1/4 Nickel

Sweet. Always fancied trying water-cooling, but could never be assed doing all the research involved into the necessary fittings and parts!!

Have to wait and see what kind of reviews these kits get.

chances are that they wont be reviewed.
they will perform better than any air cooler or closed loop system

I know absolutely nothing about water cooling!

What is the difference between the LT and HF ones? How big is the performance increase?

How easy are they really to set up?

When it says you need to 1L of distilled water, I thought you used a chemical coolant?

What case would you recommend with space to fit a 360cm radiator?

This is a great product to stock, can see these flying out.

Personally watercooling has always terrified me but if something like this were available I'd definitely consider it for my next build.

These have been around for quite a while haven't they?
Still, nice to see you getting some kits in, although I was hoping you'd be getting the XSPC kits in after the recent posts about XSPC returning to OcUK.

That said, my first watercooling loop was a kit (an XSPC one) and I ended up replacing just about ever part with something better.
I think that's the problem with kits, one manufacturer rarely makes the best of each type of part. for example the EK-Supreme HF is, from what I understand, one of the top CPU blocks. I think the EK Resevoirs are quite nice too. However I don't think EK's pumps or radiators would be my first or second choice.
I think newer XSPC kits are similarly let down by their pumps.

I think, although other may disagree, that if you're going to do watercooling, in the long run, you'd probably be better off doing some research and spend a little more, but get the bits that are right for you.
I see it a bit like buying a computer. You could go into a high street store or buy from one of the big companies that advertise on TV and at the end of the day you might pay a pretty good price and get a generally decent computer. Or you could come on these forums, ask for help and explain what you want the PC to do and let Stulid spec you something that may cost a little more but will more than likely be a better PC with quality components throughout. Plus it will probably have been spec'd to do what you want to do.

Just my 2 cents worth, which with the current financial climate is probably not worth the paper it's (not) printed on! :)
