** EK Watercooling Kits - Watercooling in a Box! INTEL AND AMD **

Hi Guys - Small Update:

There is currently a shortage of all H3O kits from EK at the moment.

We are working closely with EK to get stock shipped as soon as we can.

We have a lot of pre orders at the moment that will be fulfilled as soon as stock arrives and we hope to have stock in hand after that.

Sorry for any delays.

Hi, are any of these kits suitable for cooling a core i7 SB and a 6950 tri fire setup? I know the GPU blocks are not included just wondering if the base kit is powerful enough.

hmm tempting very tempting...but I don't like blue, so I guess will have to buy a decent colour out of Eks range

Also, while I m at it, I can't seem to find a Ek full block for a 570, only 580...unless it fits both?

(you can see whats coming:p)

Would it be smarter to test the loop outside of the case and then fit it just incase of a leak?

Cant be too careful with water and electronics - so probably a good idea for peace of mind. Most watercooling loops are leak tested for 24hrs - but I expect you already knew that.

Had mine on order since sept 2nd, still waiting very patently :D

On another note it has given me time to buy lots of adaptions! Coloured tube, block for my 5870, another 140 single rad :) I will create a project log with lots of pics :)

580 blocks fit the 570
the graphics card is the same layout but has bits missing off it.

the blue is an additive for distilled water - just buy a coolant that suits your tastes :)

that's what the manual says

as soon as stock lands it will be allocated to you :)

Regarding the 120 kit:

Would the pump and res fit inbetween the PSU and HDD on a Silverstone fortress FT01 BW case? Or is there a better place for it? (Know you used to have this case rjkoneil)
Have a Noctua NH U12p Se2 air cooler at the moment, but am thinking would go to this waterkit if it is quieter and has same performance. Am wanting watercooling if it will fit inside the case/have same or better performance and be quieter than the Noctua cooler.

Any help would be great!

Same situation as you almost to a tee :p, my orders from the 28th august, bought everything else already, some nice tubing, associated fittings, additional single rad, gpu block for a 6950. GL to your build :D

P.S not WC'ing this cpu in my sig, now that would be a pretty big fail :D

Oh I don't know !!!!! Lol. Would be far better with a 980/990X or 2600K though.

Got me a 2600k in the box for the past month waiting for this WC kit so i can build it all >_<

Spookily enough - snap my 2600K awaits my watercooled 650D, which you guessed it is waiting for stock of the EK kits - oh well patience is a virtue as they say.Grrrrrrrrr

Lol

I think its an infectious virus we've obtained from somewhere

Re: pump placement in the ft01

It should fit, it has the same sort of footprint as my ddc did on it's mounting plate, I would probably consider getting a 90' rotary fitting for the reservoir as an addition to make your tubing route cleaner and avoid the possibility of a kink.

We have some bitspower ones in stock but there are some cheaper ones due in soon (probably the same sort of time frame as the kits) these ones will be silver to match the fittings in the kit :)
