Elder Scrolls Online

Anyone know why vampire bitten characters are selling for crazy amount? (Yes people are selling the accounts...)

I've had a few messages from people asking if I'm a vampire - I had just assumed you could become one easily enough but guess not?

I think I've powered ahead a bit too much! Got the Ebonheart trophies last night which are all just 0.1% achieved. Mind you, I had a week off work so progress will be slow now as my schedule goes back to normal.

Just been told you get some kind of bonus if you complete the group dungeons before and after cap though so I'm going to have to ease up on levelling and try to finish those dungeons before I hit 50. I'm 44 now and just started Coldharbour.

Because there will always be someone willing to pay in exchange for no effort achievement (to be a Vampire). It's possible to do so even at level 15, just need to chance it and time it right, along with finishing a level 38 quest line.

There are free bite guilds, there are still people willing to pay for it. Madness.

Just look at the price people sell on guild store, some are really inflated but yet, people still buy. My Dewmer Chest Style sold for 15K within the first day of putting it for sale.

I've made a fair bit of gold just selling stuff on a specific guild store that I've found (Circa 400 members so far). They buy all sorts, just need to price it right and bundle them appropriately to tempt buyers.

I have an over stock of steel, bundle them up in 30s, selling them for 300g and gone. People do writs and some players are willing to drop 300g to finish a 480g writ. HUH?! More money for me I suppose.

I need to get involved in this guild store, I take its its just a store for your guild? I've not really touch that part of the game.

Are you on Xbox? Drop your tag and I'll add you to the "Merchant" guild sometime tonight.

I don't run it. I was added into it and it's since grown, I joint at 150, it's now 410 and counting. Definitely one of the few decent trading guild on the Xbox.

I have bought a few recipes and that is it so far. Any ore and such I am chucking in the OcUK vault for people to hopefully skill up with :-)

I have never been bothered in trying to make in-game money in any MMO I have played.

That would be good, thanks. Xbox GT: mull1t

Thanks :)

I'm hoarding gold for now - Tought Buttocks is nearing 50 members, need gold for bidding stores next :p

Though since OcUK has a bank, I've been storing more crafting materials for others to use. Jute for Clothier, Iron for Heavy. Can never have enough wood.

Thanks :)

Will drop it this evening.

How do I sign up to the forums

It's asking me for an invitation code but not sure where I get it

Sign into your ESO account, confirm sign up. You should have an email from them later about your forum details.

That invite code is a glitch / issue they've never fixed. Stupid, I know.

I have a couple of questions, I have still not had too much time to get stuck into this but hopefully later this week I can spend a good couple of evenings levelling up a bit more (only level 9 at the moment)

1. Whats the deal with research? What is the trigger that enables you to be able to research a trait is it purely having to deconstruct an item with the specific trait on?

2. I have started the provisioning writ but only have about 1 recipe to my name is this just a case of finding more through looting or can they be bought somewhere? At least with the clothing writ i only had to find the mats this seems like its almost impossible!

At the moment I am levelling clothier and woodworking, I suspect these are what a lot of people are doing so if the guild is short of some of the other professions I could switch if it would be useful, do we have a list of what people are specialising in? (Xbox)

There are 9 traits; drops have a chance of a trait or none at all. It's all about which item you want to focus on or want to 'research' quicker so you open up options of making sets further down the line. I aim to get at least 3 traits research on items I use, and 2 for all items my group tends to use, this opens up possibility of making sets e.g. Ashen Set which gives secondary traits when 2 or more of the set is worn.

Each trait for each specific item requires an exponential increase in hours for each additional trait, i.e. 1st trait 6 hours, 2nd trait 12 hours, 3rd trait 24 hours!

This is a good read: http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Traits

You can buy or you can loot for drops. Provisions are tricky, you either have it or not. I suggest you abandon that writ and wait for the next writ and hope you have the items required. Same with all other writs. They refresh daily.

No one apart from OP have it stated in the guild thread. FYI, I am focusing on Blacksmithing (Heavy armour and Weapon traits), Clothier (Medium traits) and Woodwork (Shield / Bow / Restoration staff traits)

I currently rock a a 5 x Ashen Armour / Weapon, 10% chance of a fireball when melee :p
