this game has retarded difficulty even on easy... things that are impossible to kill wandering near things that are kinda easy.

it seems so random, I can get over the clunky but the games so laughably balanced it seems early on.

shame as the game seems kinda good

AI companions are dumb as a brick as well when it comes to attacking

It's worth persisting if you can put up with the jankiness. The game is rock hard early on and your only choice is to run from most encounters. However as you progress and level up combat becomes much better and the factions are really diverse and interesting. Personally I actually loved that the game doesn't hold your hand at all and just dumps you in a harsh world, made a refreshing change.
