This is where the FIA need the come down hard then; I.e stopping cars that are unsafe from crawling around on fire just so they can run in Q1.

Maybe if he’d stopped they’d have red flagged it and had less damage from the fire than they had trying to make it back.

The actual fire went out quite quickly. Cars that are drivable have always recovered to the pits. Makes the restart quicker too.

They are way off. Not sure why we would expect anything different to be honest they've done nothing to fix the issues yet. Sounds like they are waiting for a big bang approach to fixing it rather than incremental mini fixes. Sounds like they need a drastic redesign to compete.

Before the season I was saying LeClerc is faster but makes too many mistakes. This season Sainz is proving otherwise. Not that LeClerc hasn't had his incidents, but fortunately they've been when it didn't matter.
