Not looking forward to it on wed. I gag so easily.....last time it was bad. Plus, i could feel the tube going down and down!!!

I am going to have the full amount of drugs they can give me this time around! Lol

I’ve never had a camera up my old chap, but I’ve had a few catheters. They’re not fun when pulled out. Theres tabs on the end to keep it in place and they stretch your urethra big time

I've had that done twice.
The first wee after feels like shards of glass

I’ve had with and without sedation i.e. throat spray. It was so much easier with the sedation.

i'm waiting for one at the moment.
Had a presure test tube down, which was a bit uncomfortable, and a 24 hr smaller tube left in - pretty easy but annoying.

A couple of times ive had a camera in my bladder a few years ago and i barely felt a thing.

Had the procedure...all went ok...no gagging...had sedation etc...

All clear too so scans next..

I asked to be sedated but they also used the throat spray on me which made me feel like I couldn’t swallow my own saliva caused me to panic

They didn't warn you?
I got warned I won't be able to feel my breathing or swallowing., and just to listen to my breathing to realise I still am.

You kinda just have to submit control of your life to other people though, maybe it's a hard mind set for some to achieve.

I remember laying on my side thinking this is how animals must feel when they are injured/trapped and just stay motionless for whatever is about to happen, as a human tries to help.

I also remember thinking if anything does go wrong, at least I'm with people who should know what there doing

I had the spray too...the doc said just breath normally. Concentrate on your breathing....all went ok. I was dreading it because of the bad experience i had with it 30 years ago...
