I don't know why other energy companies don't follow EonNext with the government support... They reduce your normal DD by the amount directly rather than charging you then refunding it.
Octopus did that but I put it back up to £150 anyway so essentially it's £216 going to my bills. Perhaps I shouldn't have.I don't know why other energy companies don't follow EonNext with the government support... That's Tories for you - sell all the infrastructure off to give tax cuts before next election - works for them almost every time !I bet they are counting the pennies from closing those storage sites . I read they even tried to reopen them in desperation.
That's pretty bad isn't it, it's not their money to withhold surely.https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/oth...-until-spring-investigation-finds/ar-AA15YUDS

You still with them, if so, switch to whole month billing and then apply for a refund. Took me ages to get my refund, although not as long as you.I am fighting with Shell over a year now for refund what a bad company i am thinking go to news paper
lng tanker can apparently provide a days worth of gas for the UK, and take a a couple of days to unload, (one at a time?) so maybe supply could keep up with storage depletion. How long does it take to refill? Is this really a big deal?
I am not with them but still waiting for money. You still with them, if so, switch to whole month billing and then apply for a refund. Took me ages to get my refund, although not as long as you.
Those costs have got to be unsustainable for a large proportion of the population. Jesus.

Mine neither but I'm not stressing about it. I appreciate it's January and it can take a few days after the bank holidays for things to sort out.
