When I used them I had them connected to a waterproof outdoor socket with an RDC built into that socket.

I used 3 for 3 years without any issue, saved me a small fortune, 2x250w and 1x330w

It took two guys to carry it up them (IIRC it's about 60kg), I'm fairly sure there are much more valuable, and smaller/lighter items to steal

There are huge solar farms with panels just sat on the ground, can't see trying to rip them off a house roof as a profitable or sensible endeavour!
