Yeah it's not Mad Max yet. There will be trouble if the government don't do a lot more to help people, but rioters usually go home once they've got the tv they want.

Everyone was as good as gold around my area during lockdown, even had close on 3 months of sunshine for the first one....it was great.

When I seen the rural beauty spots on the news, people had all ventured there in the cars places were bunged and people were complaining others were turding on the paths everywhere!

think about schools that have to heat ancient buildings and also have requirements for ventilation during covid (windows open) and will likely do again when covid is version 10001 back in the winter.

I can't see many small businesses surviving tbh. Even larger ones will struggle. More so when people stop spending money.

Indeed. I was listening to Jeremy Vine on R2 the other week and a few business owners were sharing their cost increase amounts and some were eye watering. Some saying they can't afford to operate, as if they have to pass that much cost on to customers, who are also now (obviously) cutting back, they'll lose custom and become unable to function.

They are thinking of moving to 3 day week I read the other day..

They can't move to a 3 day week, parents have 5 day weeks still, unless everyone is on a 3 day week the kids may have no childcare available.
