Energy Prices (Strictly NO referrals!)

I only have the figure for this year, to date.

Electricity 1346
Gas 6387
With increased use in November and December say 1,750 electricity and 9,000 gas for the year. At price guarantee rates that comes to around £1,800. Less your credit of £716 leaves £1,084 so paying £98/month doesn't seem massively outrageous. For the next five months you should pay £66/£67month less due to the £400 discount.

Thank you, appreciate your time in looking and responding.

What's going on here? Are you heating a swimming pool you don't know about?!

It bugged me so much I went round the entire house and turned on one item individually, turns out two cisco POE switches were responsible for 2/3 of my total electricity, they have been up in the loft pretty much since I moved in and power a few wireless APs and CCTV cameras. Switched them off and my usage fell through the floor, I honestly didn't know they were so juicy when it comes to power!

So glad I saw this thread!

Pub I go to fairly regularly in North Norfolk stopped doing Pizzas and most of their hot food menu at lunch now.

Just said it costs too much to run the ovens.

Seems to be a trend now, understandably.

One of my local pubs has shut down during the day, presumably because of the increased utility increases.

Apparently a lot of shops are looking at either late opening or early closing with the cost of electricity, etc. - several places on the estate I work on are likely closing at 5 or 6pm instead of staying open until 8-10pm.

Yea I don't blame them, just a shame.

As you say the next step will be they start closing during the day.

Its still quite a lot though, the POE's at work only ran a little bit more than 200w each and they were 48 porters half filled with voip handsets and some APs

Octopus taking over bulb confirmed

Has anyone tried to join them recently without an ev? I gave them a call and they did not want to join basically saying would be same price with them as my current supplier so no point etc etc. I think they are trying to avoid paying referral maybe, not that I mentioned that or anything.

I switched a month ago. Did it all online and just went on to their flexible tariff which was the same as what I was paying previously.

Link? Every time I try to join it takes you to a page that says contact them via email or call them.
