Got my fans today.

Got my fans today. They look nice and are of good quality guild, nice lighting options. Reliazed upon opening they are USB powered, when I read the description I assumed internal USB header or something. Not actual USB. So might strip the USB heads of and put them in a mobo header socket.

Thanks ocuk for the free fans though!

the fans are 5v ur mobo headers are 12v. i imagine ull get them running twice the speed or burn them out, unless ur modding a usb header of course lol. i have modded the fan control in the zalman z9 case to take 5v from a psu molex and power the fans. also means i get a bit of speed control just finish and am very happy with them thanks ocuk and enermax again

Saw you got the same ones as me. Bit strange they meant to be external fans though. They look nice though I guess lol so will DIY to get them on. But also gotta find some big screws to mount them in my case.

He's done something similar before IIRC. Someone gave him a PSU to use temporarily as his broke, couple weeks later it's on eBay...or something along those lines.

I'm pretty annoyed atm tbh. Not just the fact that this get done all the time but the fact my GTX 670 doesn't work and I cannot afford a PSU to fix my PC this close to Christmas.
