***** Enermax Celebration - Big Giveaway ***** WINNERS ANNOUNCED POST 198!

Wow, i checked this thread thinking people were still moaning about not winning, to find out the winner lied to obtain it then just sold it anyway...

Pathetic

Should be banned from entering any future competitions on this forum.

have to agree with Nexus18 here, just a shame someone didn't win it that would actually have used it.

Well guys, just to let you all know. Shayper did contact OcUK and asked if he could sell the prize, we cannot enforce what any winners do with any prizes. So I confirmed that if he wished to do so, then OcUK would not disapprove of it.

I'm not sure if he sold it on our MM, but the rules within our MM states that competition prizes and gifts in general can be sold on the MM. We could not change the rules just because the prize was given away by OcUK.

I would have liked to see a member win the PSU and keep it themselves and even post a review about the prize, but if a member decides to sell a prize, we cannot stop them from doing so.

Oh we understand you can't do anything. Still a dodgy thing to do though.

It would be nice if these sort of competitions could go to the genuine needy people...but good luck with that :D

For a start no needy people need 1200W PSU's so you should keep to the more sensible versions etc..

Also if the company sponsoring it does not want anything back (advertising line etc) just pull the winners from a hat !, You know with this sort of thing you will never please everyone regardless how you implement it anyway.

If you stipulate prizes are to help people and not to be sold, I personally think that would be sensible.

Finally what Shyper did was not wrong it was a competition and he won, the problem was for no fault of his there was no ground rules, sure most of us would not have, but that's just each to his own morals I suppose.
